Independence Party leader Frank MacKay brought more than three dozen supporters to presidential candidate John McCain’s town hall meeting Thursday night at Federal Hall in Manhattan that was televised on the Fox cable channel. MacKay, who has made no endorsement decision, sat in the corner, but major Long Island political fundraiser Mark Broxmeyer took a seat right behind McCain on the dais.
