Spin Cycle

We've had press releases galore, speeches by Palin and McCain, lots of chatter on Fox, a web ad this morning -- and now, the GOP is finally going up with a TV ad on Obama's acquaintance with ex-radical Bill Ayers.

It's not from the McCain campaign, though. It's from the "independent expenditure" arm of the RNC, which will give McCain some deniability if attacking during an economic crisis doesn't play well. It stars Tony Rezko and former Clinton Commerce Secretary William Daley, in addtion to Ayers.
