My ex-husband never shut his trap so I dont believe those findings at all.

I don't believe women talk more...society just wants us to think this. This guy I'm dating talks and talks; even his mother says he talks too much. Tbey won't admit it, but guys love to gossip!!

Val--thanks for being honest about your feelings today. I disagree about women talking faster and gossiping more--BIG TIME. MANY of my best female friends are actively in high intelligent positions, working with confidential material of the highest level. In my working days, I too worked in great jobs with confidential material as a routine matter. Nothing was ever linked to me or my desk.

Water cooler talk is common in offices. And who spends more time there? Usually,MEN. Talking about how much people make, wives, etc. etc.

I loved your mom when she was on the show for Mother's Day.

I disagree as well. My boyfriend and his friends gossip so much, i caint even keep up with them !

Sorry about getting off subject here, but the day you played your music on the Morning Show was great! Babygirl, hearing Slave "Party Lights" made my week-- I haven't heard that song in years!! Back in the day, that was my "Jam"! My daughter and I love watching you and the other anchors every single morning, but especially you. Thanks for making our day.

I totally agree with you, men talk twice as much as women. How do they think we get the information, from Men!!

Val, all you women do is talk. Prime example; My wife is 7 months pregnant and came in the room last nite while I was watching a football game. What does she want to do??? TALK!! About what??? Yeah I know the baby is coming!! Yeah I am excited!!! Yeah I know you're hungry!! Never does she want to talk during Desperate Housewives!! How about during a Lifetime Movie??? NEVER!! Then they pull that, "Do you love me more than football??" Do I HAVE to anwser that question?? Are you READY for the answer?? Women talk just to unsilence, silence. That report did nothing but reaffirm yall talkativeness (if that's a word). Peace out!!

Hi Val,

I must say I know men talk more that women. My husband used to have card parties at our house with his friends, and this was just an excuse to get together and talk, talk, talk about nothing at all. Right now, my guy stays on the phone for hours to the point of falling to sleep with the phone to his ear. So tell me who talks more!
