I'm Embarassed
How will I ever convince the Cubs I should sing when I can only convince 344 viewers?
I couldn't even run for student council with that many signatures!
What hurts is that it's not even viewers who've kept my dream alive. I've had to rely on dead celebrities (thank you Jimi Hendrix and Mama Cass), my television competition (I LOVED your promo CBS2) and friends of the show (you got a raw deal Danny Devito!).
I'm keeping the petition up until Thursday, at which time I will ask the Cubs for a decision by Friday. I feel that 1,000 signatures might get their attention. This is our 11th hour people!
Please don't let me embarass myself.

I signed. . .cause remember folks, all the COOL people sign this. But you should sing it like britney spears probably would sing it. . .you know, just take an old track of Harry Carry singing it and lip sinc it! Muwahaha!

Pat, my two favorite things in life: The Cubs and you. I'd be beside myself if you sing there. Not many games left though, but I have season tickets and will be there. If it doesn't happen, will you come to my kick ass Cub's playoff party and sing it? My parties are great. CBS 2 covered my Super Bowl party, but WGN & the Cubbies would be the ultimate!

Pat...The only way to get things done in Chicago is to call Eric & Kathy on the Mix! They can get anything done... Look what they did for Brad Maynard last year!
