Dean, this has nothing to do with your blog, but wanted to tell ya I just saw you on Gawker.com in one of Tom Cruazy's Scientology clips. Watch your back, Big Guy!

I was watching the segment on the oscar nominations with Dean Richards. Dean- you said you were surprised that Sweeney Todd was overlooked by the Academy-perhaps it was the violence. I saw Sweeney Todd. I also saw No Country For Old Men - a far superior film. If violence is a factor - how do explain the latter's nomination? No Country For Old Men contained scened with graphic, realistic violence while Sweeny Todd's bloody scenes were rather "cartoonish." Sweeny Todd was overlooked because it was horrible. (period)
