The person who decided to close I57 at northbound rt17 sure doesn't know the area.
Must likely state police who don't live in the area.

Getting off I57 at RT.50 would be perfect to go north to Sauk Trail and back on I57 North bound.

By the way your traffic reporter is also a little lost, It's Manhattan-Monee road, Not Manhattan.
It would be so nice if SOMEONE would look at a map.

Dame north siders.
