Redone Dome

Today, I was walking around the Louisiana Superdome, preparing a story on the phase two renovations. To my eyes, the dome has never looked better. From the new electronic score boards, to the upgraded and tricked out luxury suites and club lounges, the 32 year old stadium has its swagger back. Like many homes across the Katrina damaged Gulf Coast, the dome sparkles with new life in a region of rebirth.

What are some are your thoughts on the redone dome. Do you think this expands the life of the building? Should Saints owner Tom Benson drop his demand for a new stadium at least for the next 10 to 15 years?

The Dome looked amazing on TV last night.

Now, if we can just get that new lease signed by Benson. That's the key. I think Benson only wants those stadium bells and whistles that improve his profit margin and if the dome now has all of that, we should be able to get a new deal done.
