Barack Obama ...loose lips sink ships

He ALMOST had it in the bag, and then the Fates played the hubris card, stepped in and handed Hillary a lifesaver. You'd think a guy as hip to modern technology as Obama would know that with all the personal gadgets people carry, there's no such thing as a closed-door fund raiser any more. Maybe he was lulled into complacency by the rivers of caviar and champagne at the Marin County Limousine Liberal get-together. As Ricky Ricardo might say, he's gotta lotta 'splainin' to do.

I cling to my religion, my guns and my prejudice cause I can't get a job...according to Obama. Maybe I just like guns, love God and don't trust people who don't respect me.Much ado about SOMETHING!

Well, I'm bitter. I admit it. Our country has been hijacked by bush & his cronies, the war, the economy, & to top it off...back journalism-these journalist are like kids in a school yard. they run back & forth-she said this..he said that & then they yell "fight". that's what they did in the run up to the war & they continue to talk about nonsense...they owe us & every person in the armed forces an apology for not doing their job

Obama the tilaban man, obama wants to take away your religion and replace it with Musalim hate and discontent. No one wants to listen the smooth Iman is going to target America when if he gets elected, Elect anybody but OBAMA the Freedom basher.

The unfortunate fact is what he said is true. I don't take it as a derogatory comment - since when is acknowledging that bigoted, racist people exist in middle America controversial? This is not a news flash. He's saying that they look for solace in the things that are familiar to them when they feel overwhelmed by the unfamiliar. And what has he really lost? These good old boys were not going be voting for him anytime this century anyway.
For Night Ranger: If he did have a SECRET Muslim agenda, why would he run under the name BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA? Not a very good cover.

I agree with Lois Lane, I don't take Obama's statement as being derogatory, he is telling it like it is.
Loved the drawing; tongue hitting Obama on the head...........quite funny!

For me it was Obama's actions and comments after his mouth failure that made me upset. He didn't appologise, he attacked Clinton, I was flabberghasted when he actually made disparaging comments of Hillary partying with the people; that was so juvenile of him! He came out sounding jealous. He always seems to make lame excuses for his failures. And he's a sore looser. . . .

Personally I don’t care one way or the other. Yes he may have stated what can be viewed as the "truth", but unfortunately in the wonderful world of politics they are not privy to say the "truth" as they see fit. Sometimes for saying what’s on their mind they can create problems for them selves or create controversy such as this.
Part of being a good politician is knowing what you can say and when you can say it. Sadly he may have felt "safe" saying that in that atmosphere, but would never say that on a presidential debate. He simply let his guard down and is/should take the heat.

I'm kinda surprised we haven't seen any parodies yet about how Ivy League grads are sure they know everything, but they get bitter and disgusted when everyone won't listen to them so they turn to politics :-).
