Pat Robertson, Haiti, and the Devil

robertson.gifIn case you didn't think the Haitians have suffered enough already, along comes God's self-appointed spokesman, Pat Robertson, to pile on to their miseries with some divine retribution.

This is not Robertson's first foray into rubbing it in, evangelical-style. Remember when he and Jerry Falwell--working as a tag-team--said New York City deserved 9/11 because of all the depravity committed within its borders?

The holy man's claim that the Haitians made a deal with the devil a couple of hundred years ago to rid themselves of the French would be comic relief if it weren't in such poor taste, especially at this time.

It would be easy to dismiss this charlatan, except that many people look to him for guidance on what to think, a lot like the way people look to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck for the same.

Maybe they're all the same people, so hopefully the harm Robertson does will be minimal.

Pat Robertson is such a piece of crap human being. People who follow him are just as bad.

This person shows their complete bias against conservetives as he goes on his rant and lumps these guys together. Notice that he didn't mention any liberals. Right or wrong Pat Robertson at least is out there with help. I wonder just what these critics contribute.

Chan Lowe criticizes Pat Robertson for his outlandish comments about Haiti yet he shows the same mentality on daily basis towards conservatives. Go figure, another liberal hypocrite.

Two things first I hope you have a cartoon planned for actor Danny Glover that was quoted as saying the earthquake in haiti was because we didn't do anything in Copenhagen. Also so nothing on the fact that Obama's healthcare is doing nothing but buying votes. Now the Unions are exempt from the tax that everyone else with good health care plans have to pay. Why should they be exempt other than the fact they helped him get elected. I thought that kind of vote buying was illegal. Oh and just to make sure you don't label me a religious nut I think that Robertson should keep his mouth shut he just makes us Christians look like idiots.

This is the most informed and my I say talented newspersons. Yeah conservatives and bigots don't like the truth, you know why????? THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH.... So they pee-pic to try and figure out how they can make their B-S make sense to people that really don't have fears about change. THEY(conservatives
and bigots)however believe in the age old control trick fear, confusion, lies, and most of all deceit. People don't buy into their way of thinking fear, falsehood, false family life, forever slavery is their motto. Oh yeah Mr. Lowe, great cartoons of the President. Very classy. Obama our President is a great MAN. We cannot help the feeble fearing few. You know who ur (conservatives and bigots).
