MANCHESTER, N.H. – "Hello Mr. George. I'm calling to see what you thought about Senator Obama and Oprah Winfrey last night?
An energetic Obama volunteer just called and asked me this question – not because I covered the Manchester event for the Tribune, but because I also signed up online to receive an ordinary ticket, which required handing over my email address and phone number.
Such contact details are a rich data mine of opportunity for the campaign to reach any undecided voters, and staff and volunteers will be calling each and every one of the 6,000 - 8,500 people who spent their Sunday night at the Verizon Wireless Arena, said Reid Cherlin, Obama's New Hampshire spokesman.
Calls will be going out from all of Obama's 16 state offices until they make it through the list.
"It's to reenergize the supporters. And for people who are perhaps new to the political process, in general, it's an important moment," Cherlin said.
It's not one the campaign plans to let slip by.

All of the the Democratic Presidential Candidates are better than any of the typical run of the mill, half-crazy Republican candidates (Rude E McRomHuckster) this election cycle but Senator Barack Obama has impressed me the most and he will be getting my vote.

I hope she didn't mean the young college students? These people are too busy studying and partying after their breaks. They won't bother to show up at the poll. hahahaha. . .as in every case. :-)

Obama's campaign has now been in contact with at least 1/3rd of the caucus-goers in Iowa and NH.
If nothing more they are now aware, of how much support Barack really has.
This is extremely critical in terms of the message the campaign wants to portray in the next 3 weeks.

NOW IT'S OPRAH FAULT. "Well, I didn't watch the Republican debates because I didn't want to soil anyone's chances by supporting them. They don't want my support, either. Then again, I really like this Obama guy. He would definitely carry on my tradition in the White House. Vote for him."
