DES MOINES, Iowa -- Just minutes into the caucuses, the Hillary Clinton camp is prepared to celebrate or commiserate, depending on the outcome.

Staff members are scurrying ahead of Clinton’s appearance, corralling media from across the world into the back of a room containing an empty podium.

As the press plugs in and boots up, wait staff are stocking cocktail napkins and garnishes for guests expected to stream into the Hotel Fort Des Moines after the caucuses close.

Clinton was nowhere to be seen, though security staff were being briefed on entrances, exits and stairwells in advance of what will promise to be a wild night.

I am so glad that the clintons are losing!!!!

Iowa is over. This just shows how this traditional primary system is broke. Hillary will be back big time in New Hampshire and the rests of the country.

I think the people there and the rests of the country are less touchy feely than Iowa. They think not just feel. We need a tested leader not another rookie just remember what has been happenning to America this past 7 years.

I hope you stay with it and continue your campaign. We need you to win!!!!!

I support Hillary. Remember when Clinton was in office? The economy was good, no war.
Well tell me who was running the country than?
Not the man but the woman beside him.

I support Hillary. Remember when Bill was president. The economy was good, cost's were down and no war!!!!!
Who do you think was incharge Bill or Hillary?
I think it is obvious!

Hillary Clinton is the right person to lead the country into the next four years. Make no mistake.

It isn't over until it is over....

Don't kid yourselves. Obama
is the cold, arrogant individual, not Hillary Clinton. I can't believe people are fooled by his facade. If people are for
true change in our country's leadership, take away the male egotist and vote for a female for President. That would be the authentic change. Hillary is no more the status quo than anyone else
running. She is just as
progressive as either Obama or Edwards. Doesn't Obama
include funding and backing
from celebrities as under the belt as corporate funders. Isn't Oprah a
corporation? If the country doesn't elect Hillary Clinton, this will be the nail in our country's coffin.

Hillary Clinton will be the next president.

Time for a new path for america. Time for new faces in the white house. A time for the bushes and the clintons to lay down their weapons. Good luck to the front-runners of both demo. and repub.

I think its nice to see that our voters have not been fooled by the false warmth Hillary has been displaying in an attempt to trick us into voting for her.

I respect many of the views from both Republican and Democratic candidates but I will be truly happy when she does not get the Democratic nomination.....

All that means Obama goes into this state's compressed contest with a target on his back a situation he has managed to avoid due to media bias against Clinton. "Obama, through an unprecedented convergence of luck has never before faced serious attack yet, now he's earned the right to be mercilessly scrubbed and scrutinized. Will show he is something of a phony, someone whose lofty rhetoric isn't born out in his own public record. His lack of foreign policy experience and showing he isn’t ready to lead in a dangerous world. His votes in the Senate to fund the Iraq war even as he tried to position himself as the strongest anti-war candidate will finally come into play nationally; facts show he always supports the war, voted twice in 2006 against bringing America's troops back home. Votes for war appropriations giving our money to Halliburton and Blackwater. Voted with Bush on posturing S 433 which allows the Bush Admin to suspend any troop withdrawal! keeps our troops in Iraq for a long time to come? Record also shows Obama faced with tough choices always gave in to pressure from Bush admin and corporate lobbyists. Obama voted for Bush's energy bill, sending more than $13 billion in subsidies and tax breaks to oil, coal, and nuclear companies. Obama voted with Republicans to allow credit card companies to raise interest rates over 30 percent, increasing hardship for families. "He talks about change but has no real record of making change. Lastly his use of the race card will not play well nationally…

What is wrong with some people? They have not yet learned that you need both brains and experience to run the country (We have neither with the current president). That means there is only one person for the job, Hillary.

Obama and Edwards have the brains but no experience. We need someone who can run the country and who has experiance with the Right Wing and their vengence tactics.

I still think Hillary will win the nomination. She is the stronger, smarter, more experienced candidate and has that "presidential air" about her. She is definitely for change and knows that she is doing because she is extremely intelligent and has "been there and done that" when her husband was in office. This country will really go down the tube if she is not elected because I don't think the rest of the candidates has what it takes to move us forward..

I am so happy this Clinton snake is losing

I am glad to see the smart people in Iowa have spoken. Hillarity does not care about the country only winning so she has power.
She is a liar and a thief. Hopefully she will take the hint and disapear from politics all together

Other than party affiliation, Hillary is just another Bush or Cheney--a power-mad, argumentative and divisive Washington insider. We've already had eight years of that. Iowans made the right choice.

Are you people who want Hillary absolutely insane? WHat is wrong with you? Can you not rmember all that the Clintons have done? The crooked deals, the lies and cheating, screwing friends over and over. Please, please do a search on Google on "Clinton scandal" and then tell me this is what you want to lead our country. Make sure you put it in quotes so you only get Clinton scandals and not a million hits.

Hillary will stay strong, she has the experience and a lifelong devotion to the ideals that make America strong, which is caring for the weaker members of our society and equal opportunity and protection for all. Iowa will not dictate America's outcome because Iowa does not represent mainstream America.

Whenever I look at Hilary, I see Richard Nixon in a pantsuit. Watch the movie "Election" with Reese Witherspoon. It's really the Hilary story, about a girl who is anxiously and petulantly insistent that she "deserves" to be elected. There's just no other choice in her mind.

Hilary has no more experience than the others. She stole the dishes from the whitehouse and everything in Air Force One when leaving office ... if a person has no moral character, then how can anyone vote for her? The Iowa voters see through her plastic smile and power hungry ambishion.
I will vote for anybody but her.
