In the category of what The Daily Show likes to call "Baracking News,'' except that we're not making this up, comes word from Italy that fashion goddess Donatella Versace has dedicated her entire 2009 Spring-Summer Collection. to Sen. Barack Obama.
Donatella "may not be immune to the temptations of publicity associated with an American presidential race,'' Andrew Malcolmn notes at Top of the Ticket. She describes her new men's line as for "a relaxed man who doesn't need to flex muscles to show he has power."
She also offers this advice for Obama from Milan: Lose the tie and jazz up the shirt.

Obama is a full scale movement - thanks to all the things referenced in the "Republican Failures" post above.

I agree with losing the tie. Senator Obama could do for the tie what President Kennedy did for men's hats.

McCain is NOT Bush. Wake up, you dumb people!
I am choosing a president, not a fashion diva or stud!

re McCain not being like Bush: Why is it that whenever someone makes a patently foolish or false statement, they either preface or follow it with "wake up...people"?
Obama's stylish. But I like him alright anyway.

Someone should tell the swamp that Italian nationals don't get a vote. Remember working-class democrats, the man who wears Donatella Versace's clothes and only went to the best private schools growing up represents you. Sure he does.

Jeff, reread the article. She designed a line inspired by him not for him. I am sure cindy's billions and billions buy gramps mccain lots of expensive threads.
