Sooner or later, Washington catches wind of what the rest of the country has been facing -- though in this case it's not flooding, but rather torrential rains that gripped the Capitol and the suburbs of Washington, D.C., for a time this afternoon.
Tornadoes have claimed fatalities in the area in recent weeks.
And tomorrow morning, following his return from an eight-day tour of Europe, President Bush will get a briefing on Midwest flooding in the Roosevelt Room of the White House.
The forecast calls for clearing skies here.

I guess "THE GODS" are "MAD" with Nancy Pelosi and the DEMOC"RATS"
They promised they would make things better, but it seems all they do is make things "WORST" and BLAME BUSH.
It is time to throw them out and elect back REPUBLICANS.

Umm...Just blame it all on Bush.
He was in Europe while he should of been here fighting off mother nature...
I'm sure sure Obama would have just raised his hands towards the skies and stopped the rain in 8 of the flooded [57] states.

VJ,
My apologies, I misread your post. I thought it read: "It is time to throw them out and elect b[l]ack REPUBLICANS."
You're right, I should know better.
