Howard Wolfson, the former spokesman for Hillary Clinton's failed campaign for president, has joined Fox News Channel as a contributor, Fox announced today.
Wolfson is scheduled to go on air tomorrow.
"Howard was part of the inner working circle of Senator Clinton's campaign and has a unique perspective on just how unconventional this election year already is," said John Moody, executive vice president of news editorial for Fox. "He has proven himself on key campaigns throughout the last decade and is recognized as one of the top communications and political thinkers in the Democratic Party."
Wolfson has a lengthy resume in politics. He was Clinton's senior advisor during her 2000 campaign for Senate and the senior communications strategist for the Democratic National Committee in 2004. He worked on other campaigns, including those of Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY), New York City Comptroller Bill Thompson and U.S. Representatives Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Michael Arcuri (D-NY).
Moody said the network is looking forward to benefiting from his insight during and after the campaign season.

Comments
I did a search of federal records of campaign contributions and came up with some very interesting results.
Employees of Fox News made 56 contributions, split between the two parties, with the majority of contributions going to Democrats.
Versus National Public Radio, 25 contributions, 25 to Democrats, 0 to Republicans.
As these records show, it's easy to see who's "fair and balanced". The Wolfson hire only confirms this.

I love Howard because he loves Hillary.

Fact is there are more Democratic or liberal journalists and pundits working for Fox News than there are Republican or conservative journalists and pundits working at CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC COMBINED.

Fox News spreads blatant lies. The other stations do not. That is the difference. I watch Fox News for entertainment, because it is so ridiculous and hilarious. And so many people buy into it, it amazes me. Green Trees and Bruce, do you agree?

Joel, if it's lies you want spreadin, then Keith Olbermann is your man. Or how CNN, which has been found guilty of providing made up stories, like Agent Orange and Gen. Westmoreland. That whopper costs CNN millions. Or how about NBC News and it blowing up cars. That little gambit cost the network millions too, Then there is CBS News, Dan Rather and Memogate. Lots of jobs lost over that adventure in made up stories. What's the frequency, Joel???

Oh goody, goody! And in November they can add John McCain hosting his own talk show.

I don't care what party the reporter votes for, I care if the story is true. And the facts can be verified. Why are Bruce and Green Trees so preoccupied with affiliations? Why don't you demand truth instead of your definition of "balance"? Weirdos.

Jo, there is more balance in one hour on Fox News than there is in 24 hours on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC. I demand facts and both sides of the story. You get more of that at Fox than you do anywhere else.

Trees, I don't understand how someone could be so wrong about something. Are you being serious? Do you really think Fox News gives both sides of the story equally? You are wrong and you know it. How can someone be so brainwashed?
