Rep. Rahm Emanuel, one of Congress's best trash talkers, has some ideas on where President Bush can go.
Riffing off Bush's recent farewell tour to Europe, Emanuel, chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, suggests, tongue-in-cheek, the president take a similar tour of the U.S.
Obviously, Emanuel is engaging in some Bush-bashing here, but it's a clever and entertaining form of Bush-bashing. Take a look.
EMANUEL CALLS ON BUSH TO TAKE AMERICAN FAREWELL TOUR
Washington, D.C. - House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel issued the following statement regarding President Bush's European farewell tour:
"Earlier this week, President Bush returned from his European trip known as his 'farewell tour,' where he attempted to describe poor relations between America and the European community as good, and the last several years as just one big misunderstanding. After saying goodbye to Europe, the President should get back on Air Force One and take an American farewell tour and try telling Americans it's all been one big misunderstanding as well. A few suggested stops include:
