Topix.net Launches Publisher Platform
News aggregator Topix.net takes another hosted content enrichment step, quietly launching a new platform that lets publishers put their content on Topix and share in revenue from ads on their pages. Participating companies in the Publisher Platform include Mama Tribune, a co-owner of Topix.net along with Gannett and Knight-Ridder. Full list here. Earlier this year, Topix launched forum functionality that has given it tens of thousands of pages of content to monetize.
