Book Review: 'William Yeoward on Entertaining'

yeoward.jpg

"William Yeoward on Entertaining: Inspiring Ideas for Entertaining With Style," (Cico Books, $40): Sedate yet colorful, the table settings, menus and locations chosen by William Yeoward suit a variety of occasions: romantic evenings, convivial gatherings or simple lunches. Flowers, color and lighting, well displayed in this book through close-up photos, all serve to set a mood with style and class. Examples of his work depict entertaining at pool side, in a vineyard, at a farm, and other locales. The brightest colors are saved for a children's party, with lime-green, apricot, blues and pink highlighting masks, toys and tables.
