Veterans of the war in Afghanistan and Iraq who are struggling because of their service may be eligible for a free house. The home, located in southwestern Pennsylvania, will be given away to the recipient who may occupy, rent or sell it. He or she must be able to maintain the financial obligations such as real estate taxes associated with ownership or sale.
