That's who advanced through the first round of Super Bowl Supremacy. Not one upset. Not even close, either.
The only struggle was the 8-9 game, as it usually is. Even that one wasn't all that close as the 2007 Patriots beat the 1977 Cowboys, 249-144.

Quarterfinals: Poll opens Monday at 12:30 p.m. and closes Tuesday (Jan. 29) at 11:59 p.m.
Semifinals: Poll opens Wednesday (Jan. 30) at 12:10 a.m. and closes at 11:59 p.m. that night.
Final: Poll opens Thursday (Jan. 31) at 12:10 a.m.and closes at noon Friday (Feb. 1)

The 1969 NY Jets, changed football and the SuperBowl forever.
They gave legitimacy to the AFL, which eventually lead to the combining of both Leagues and the NFL as we know it today.
While the Jets were the first to show that the NFL could compete with the AFL. Some credit has to be given to the Chiefs. when they dominated those 'Purple People Eater' Viking defense in SB 4 it confirmed what AFL fans new. That the NFL had no answer for the AFL QB's who could throw like Namath, Dawson and the Raiders Lamonica. Or the Chargers Hadl. or with recievers like the Chiefs 89-Otis Taylor, or Chargers Lance Alworth, or Jet Maynard,Sauer
What about the 1976 or 1983 Raiders ?

The 68 Jets as the #12 seed? Are you homers kidding me? The 68 Jets werent even the best team that year. If they played the Colts 10 times, they would have lost 9 times. They got lucky and beat the Colts that year, everyone knows they werent the better team.
The 68 Jets, 69 Chiefs, 70 Colts have no business on this list.
If you want a real list go to ESPN, they did a great job rating the best SB teams of all time. Whoever came up with this newsday list should find another job. You dont even have their #1 team listed in your brackett ( 89 9ers ) =
