Christmas in March

anna.jpgPersonally, I had enough of Anna Benson a long time ago, even when her husband, Kris, still pitched for the Mets. But evidently the people over at Penthouse don't share that view, so here's a few more comments from her that appear in the April issue of the magazine. Nothing to get worked up about. But it is amusing that she didn't get Jorge Julio's name right and apparently does not think much of John Maine as a pitcher. So here goes:

--- On trading her husband on the brink of winning a World Series: “The Mets lost (a chance at winning) the World Series because of a little red dress. That doesn’t bother me. That should bother them.”

--- On the “Anna Claus” incident: “What do they (the Mets) care more about, a bleeping dress or a World Championship?

-- On the Mets getting the better of the trade: “They got a bleeping bag of balls for Kris. They didn’t get expletive. Julio Jorge and John Maine. They traded a number one stud pitcher who was 30 for at the time, and they blame the red dress.”

I would trade Chan Ho Park straight up for Anna Benson and her little Santa outfit.

Omar, make the deal now...

When Anna briefly filed for a divorce from Kris, she termed their marriage as "irrevocably broken."
Coincidentally, that's exactly what Rick Peterson said about Alay Soler and Victor Zambrano!

Anna, you're not an ugly gal, and you sure ain't a professional baseball prognosticator, either.

Benson for J.Julio (= El Duque) would have been a good trade straight up in retrospect.

Also getting John Maine who projects as a longterm # 3 starter makes it one of the best deals the Mets have made this century.

The supposed # 1 starter the Mets traded a year ago has never won more than 12 games in his career and has finished with a sub 4.00 ERA once.

I don´t think he´d have been the difference in the Mets WS run as he wasn´t any better than Steve Trachsel.

But good for Anna to support her husband...

Lets see we get 40% of our starting rotation for a pitcher who will be out for the season getting shoulder surgery, and we don't have to hear from this tramp anymore? I think when you look up "no brainer" in the dictionary you see a deal like this.

"I would trade Chan Ho Park straight up for Anna Benson and her little Santa outfit."

You mean, one Ho for another? (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Anna Benson is not a tramp,
she is just misunderstood.
And she is stacked like the pyramids
at Giza.

Who cares what she said lets see the pictures...

I really want her bad.
Sorry.....I just needed to say that .
This was the worst trade ever, losing Anna Benson. I don't care what that woman-hater Adam Rubin says. I hope Rubin can someday realize he is just using his forum to try and disrespect Anna. It is a non baseball issue . And frankly, I think he is just jealous of Kris Benson. Get over it.

she calls 'emlike she sees 'em

She talks so much trash. Her website, AnnaBenson.net is offline, she couldn't handle everyone laughing at her moronic comments. Look, Benson was a "flash in the pan" in the Mets transactions, move on and work on your marriage. You have much bigger issues. I have yet to hear that they are happy in Baltimore. She's just mad because she can't get the media coverage she had in NY...

Tramp...
