Is this guy having fun or what?

Here's a snapshot from the clubhouse this morning.
With everyone on the field for batting practice, Oliver Perez was sitting at his locker, playing a hand-held PSP, quietly minding his own business, as pitchers normally do on the day of their starts.
So out comes Jerry Manuel from the manager's office, fungo bat in hand, and wanders over to Perez on his way toward the field. Manuel starts mimicking Perez's windup, the crazy leg kick, the sidearm delivery, big smile on his face. Perez grins back.
As he walks away, Manuel lets out a loud, "Ooooooooo Peeeeee!" Laughs some more.
Perez goes back to his video game.

Mets Rename Citi Field. Press Release: http://roryandcraig.blogspot.com/2008/09/new-york-mets-press-release.html
It's hard to dispute the fact that the Mets play harder for Jerry Manuel.
That vignette with Ollie Perez is a perfect example of Manuel being loose...Willie was so tense he squeaked when he walked.
