AJ's No Angel

AJ Pierzynski got quite the welcome from the Anaheim crowd every time he came to the plate last night. They let him know they haven't forgotten last October.  To me, that's a compliment. When you go to somebody else's ballpark and they give you that kind of recognition, that's a compliment.

Who else but AJ would have thought to run in that situation? I wouldn't have. I would have gone right back to the dugout. I was talking to AJ about it and I said "you know you're going to get some heckling here."

He laughed and said "why me? Crede was the one who got the big hit in that game."

Hawk! I love your call of the game. Through the years, when the Sox played in Anaheim, you always opened up the broadcast with one of your monikers saying, "Coming to you from the Big A." Why don't you say that anymore? I loved it! GO SOX!

Hawk why do the Angles boo even though it was a heads-up play by AJ. If it was them it happend to the would do the exact same thing were doing!

I think A.J. has been trated very poorly by many pitchers from being walked on purpose because he is a lefty to being thrown at (game 2 vs. angels). I feel very symphtic for poor A.J.

I watch you guys any chance that I can down here in San Antonio, Texas. The SOX seem to be on their way to another World Championship! Too bad they cannot play KC in 162 game series for the pennant!

P.S. I put up a speech about you guys here..
