Game Notes For Friday

* The White Sox have won the last four meetings, holding the Royals to just two total runs in those contests.

* Kansas City looks to win consecutive games for just the third time this season.

* The Royals have scored just one run in each of their last three games, and have just seven home runs in their last 18 games overall.

* Royals’ pitcher Scott Elarton is 0-6 in his last eight starts, including 0-3 vs. the White Sox.

* Chicago has won its last 10 home games, tying a franchise record. The White Sox last won 10 in a row at home from May 21 to June 10, 1996

* The Sox Jim Thome, who hit his 11th home run yesterday, is batting .447 with seven home runs and 18 RBIs in his last 15 games vs. the Royals.

* Chicago pitcher Jon Garland has won his last four home starts vs. the Royals.
