Game Notes For Monday

*Oakland has won four games in a row against the White Sox, outscoring them 30-13 in that span.

* In 10 career starts against the White Sox, Barry Zito is 7-2 with a 3.18 ERA.

* Frank Thomas will be facing his former team for the first time. He is Chicago's all-time leader in home runs (448) and RBIs (1465).

* Jermaine Dye is 1-for-10 in his last three games with one RBI and four strikeouts.

* The White Sox have 243 runs this season, the second most in baseball.

* Jon Garland has lost each of his last two home starts against the A’s.

* In his last three games Nick Swisher has gone 1-for-12 with five strikeouts.

In the off-season,there was talk about getting Miguel Tejada. I really, really like Uribe and I am willing to accept his .250 batting average for great defense, but his recent mistakes make me wonder if Ozzie will be more or less patient with him since Ozzie played SS.
