Game Notes For Wednesday

*With last night's win, the Sox have now taken 8 straight games from the Angels, dating back to Game 2 of the 2005 ALCS.  In those games, the Sox have hit .324 with runners in scoring position and have doubled the Angels offensive output, scoring 46 runs to only 20 for the Halos.

*The Sox did some damage even after their sweep in Anaheim.  Since then, the Angels are an American League worst 2-10.

*Since Joe Crede came off the DL last September 10, the Sox are 44-18.  In those games, Crede has batted. 333 with 17 homers and 50 RBIs.

*Orlando Cabrerra has had success against Garland, going 9/19 off Jon.

*Ervin Santana struggles on the road. In his 12 career road starts, he is 3-6, with a 7.32 ERA.
