Game Notes For Monday

* Texas took two of three from the White Sox earlier this month. Then Rangers have won 11 of the last 16 home meetings in the series.

* Chicago has lost 10 of its last 15 road games, including the last three.

* The White Sox Jermaine Dye has seven home runs and 16 RBIS in his last 11 road games.

* Chicago’s Jose Contreras is 14-0 in his last 18 starts. With a win, Contreras would match the 15-game winning streaks of LaMarr Hoyt (1983-84) and Wilson Alvarez (1993-94) for the franchise's longest individual winning streak in 36 years.

* Texas has won 11 of its last 17 games to take a two-game lead in the A.L. West.

* Rangers’ rookie Ian Kinsler has 11 RBIs in his last six games.

* Texas starter John Koronka is 0-2 with a 6.41 ERA in his last five starts, recording more walks (11) than strikeouts (10) in those contests.
