Game Notes For Saturday

* Texas has won 6 of the last 7 meetings with the Sox, outhomering them 17-5.

*The Rangers have 17 homers in their last 11 games.  They also had an American League-leading streak of 14 straight games with a homer earlier in the year.

*Only Ryan Howard of the Phillies has hit more homers (14) since April 25 than Jermaine Dye (13).

*Brad Wilkerson and Tadahito Iguchi have one thing in common - they make the most of getting on base.  The two are 1-2 in the majors at runs per time on base.  Wilkerson is at .580 and Iguchi is at .563.

*Vicente Padilla is tough on right-handers (.175), but hasn't had the same success agains left-handed bats (.339).
