Top Ten List From Skip Parker
Erstwhile WGN Sports wannabe anchor Skip Parker was part of Friday night's White Sox Warmup show with his take on the Astros side of the World Series last October. We've had a bunch of e-mail requests to see it again - ask and you shall receive.

just to make sure that all is well for thursday's new pitcher Zach Duke (perez scratched). i realize that our sox do not perform as well as they would like against pitchers that they are seeing for the first time. example A: anthony reyes. zach duke will be no different from reyes in the fact that they both come after you early in the count with strikes, not to mention the occasional dirty change to start or finish an at bat, "pulled the string." Duke, however is a south paw, which may cause less problems with his change that sinks away from our prodominant right handed hitting line up. He is not overpowering by any means, but he depends on his above average control. almost "cliff lee like" where his fastball may be only in the high 80's low 90's, but it gets on the batters quickly. at least by pirate picthing standards he has the best control on the staff & could be something special in the making. i just wanted to give our sox any edge they can get; with the whole world still against them as it seems.
i also have 2 questions:
1 is for Hawk - why do the sox still get so disrespected after what they proved to the world last year? what do they have to do for people to take notice? re-peat, or maybe 3-peat. I know mr. reinsdorf knows all about those. thanks hawk
2 for DJ - hey man, whats the deal with our uniforms, do the sox still have the home sleeveless? Those were so sweet, and a little intimidating too.
thanks
