Always Working

This isn't the type of team that is interested in moral victories.  As I've pointed out so many times, they also never give up.  Ozzie won't let them and this entire team has adopted that trait from him.

Last night, down 3 runs and with the possibly the greatest closer in baseball history on the mound, the Sox went at it again.  Thome, Konerko, and Dye all had great at-bats to get singles and load the bases.   Unfortunately, the Sox only got the first two home, but it doesn't diminish the fact that this team always feels like they will come back to win.

Another benefit of that rally is that Mariano had to throw a ton of pitches in that inning.  That's the type of thing that can help the Sox the next two days, plus their lineup got some good swings in against him.

Last year was last year. Play the game. That's all that it is. You guys are thinking too much. Expectation only breeds dissapointment. People expect you to fail. Play.

NEW YEAR , NEW TEAM, YOU PROVE YOURSELF AGAIN... THATS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO..PROVE IT AGAIN!!!!!! SOX NATION.

Hawk,
I hear you talk about how our pitchers need to pitch inside more and I wonder why that's such mystery to our pitchers and coaches? How bout sending them a note...LOL

WE HAVE TO GET A GROOVE, AND LIGHT A FIRE UNDER OUR 5 MAN ROTATION..WE NEEED !!

Hey Hawk,
I know this won't get printed and that's OK, but I hope you get to see it because it's important and I like you..Plus I'm Greek and you're an honerary Greek..

Get some new material..You're getting awful repetitive. If you were on a stage that had a new audience every night that's different, but do we have to hear retread sayings 162 games a year. We know they must pitch inside and don't. We know that piches on the bat handle hurt your fingernails, and on and on.

Just freshen it up PLEASE !!
