Catching Some Heat
He might not be loved on the North Side, but AJ Pierzynski is playing like a demon in the Crosstown Series thus far. Before Sunday's game, AJ sat down with WGN's Dan Roan to talk about his performance at Wrigley Field.

You 2 drive me nuts. I love watching the Chicago teams play, but your unnecessary degrading comments every time you announce a Cubs/Sox game is sickening. I don't hear the Cubs announcers doing that. They are fair to both teams. The last straw was July 2nd when you said the score was "7 to 2-Bad guys" after the 1st inning Cubs rally. Get over it and announce the sports without your personal input. You 2 should grow up. 1st time to write, and perhaps the last.

Despite what Robin said, please don't change. If saying "bad guys" when discussing the team, the Sox are playing bothers Robin, then she or he must lose their minds when you listen to espn columnist and reporters talk about Ozzie. One espn columnist just called Ozzie the MLB"Resident Evil"over his allstar picks.Funny, they didn't call Joe Torre names the year he picked all those Yankees.Mariotti has called players"The big skirt",and "LaToya".You guys are mild compared to what espn and the printed press get away with.

You guys are the best announcers in baseball. Even the ESPN announcers are using your phrases...the ultimate complement.
In particular, "The Hawk" has become a personality; DJ is a nice complement adding lots of good insights. Hawk reminds me of the great, late Harry Carrey. Don't forget that Cub fans hated Harry until he become their announcer, and then he became a legend. Who cares about the Cubs or what their fans think...the last time I looked they were out of the race. You guys should be sainted for having to put up with the constant whinning of Cub fans. In closing, I really enjoy the diversity of the White Sox organization, and you guys add to that image. Cub games remind me of a Disneyland expereince.
