Game Notes For Friday

*Chicago is 1-2 against the Rangers at home this season compared to a 3-1 mark in Arlington.

*Texas has only hit one home run in their last seven road games.

*John Wasdin will be making his fifth start of the season after giving up zero runs in 2.1 innings of relief duty against the White Sox on June 3.

*Texas is 8-4 this season when Gary Matthews Jr. registers two or more RBI in one game.

*Mark Buehrle is 8-2 against the Rangers since 2001, the third best record by an active pitcher against Texas (minimum 10 decisions).

*Chicago has 28 come from behind victories this season, tied for the second most in the majors.

* Brian Anderson has hit safely in nine straight games and is hitting .462 (12-for-26) in those nine games.
