Game Notes For Sunday

*With two wins this weekend, the Sox have extended their lead in the all-time series vs. the Cubs to a 29-24 advantage.

*The Sox continue to excel at jumping to an early lead.  Their +82 run differential in the first three innings is best in baseball while the Cubs -62 is the second worst.

*With yesterday's home run, Paul Konerko now has 12 HRs vs. the Cubs in his career.

*Mark Buehrle has won 8 straight interleague decisions, the second longest streak in baseball behind Kenny Rogers' 9.  Teammate Freddy Garcia has 7 straight interleague wins.

I don't want to jinx my cubs but, I want to let you know Buehrle is one the most homered off of pitchers in the majors. He is also only striking out 3.7 batters per 9. He has also allowed 11 more homers than he did last year at this point. Don't be very confident.

Why in the world are Sox broadcasters announcing at OUR CUB PARK????????? If I wanted to hear someone cheer for the opposing team I'd go to THEIR stadium!!!!!!!

I agree...dont need to hear sox announcers when the games at wrigley!! But they also never even mentioned that Angel Pagan has hit his 1st 2 career HR's on his 25th birthday! Thats pretty great!

I believe that when the two teams were at USCellular that both clubs got one game with their announcers. Should WGN have the opposing announcers when the Sox are at other parks?
