Over The Hump
It's a long season- at times like this all fans have to remember it. What the Sox need to remember is to play the type of baseball that won them a World Series last year and has driven them to a strong record so far this year.
This team's starting pitching has been its backbone, so getting some quality outings all week will be key. Our pitchers seem to respond well to each other and hopefully a good effort in NY today will set the tone for everyone to step up. Little things like no mental errors on defense and not giving opponents extra outs are what the Sox have done to their opponents, not themselves in the past. If everyone takes care of their own business in that department, the Sox can get right back on track in a hurry.

What is happening with our beloved Sox? They have lost their edginess that they had last year. The pitching is embarrassing. The whole episode is an embarrassment. Say what you will about records, etc. They are not the same team as they were last year. They are not "hungry"

DJ, maybe you can let Ozzie know, but the baserunning has been atrocious all year, especially the calls from third base. Cora is known as an aggressive coach, but there is a fine line between aggressive and reckless. His decisionmaking has directly affected the score in many ball games, and lately it has cost them games. I know the pitching isn't what it was last year, and to expect a dream year like that again is unfair and unreasonable. Runs will be at a premium and the Sox don't need to give away games because of lousy baserunning.

You guys sound like complete dorks when you say "We" had a chance..."We" need to do better. "We" are still the best club in the game.
I get it...you guys are the Sox broadcasters...BUT YOU'RE NOT ON THE FIELD! It's "THEY".
Who signs your paycheck? The Sox or Mother Tribune?
Stop it already.

Dear Hawk and DJ:
When are you boneheads going to start pronouncing the Spanish names correctly on your broadcasts. For example Uribe is pronounced OOOR-EE-BAY and Cintron is pronounced SEEN-TRONE. It is pathetic that close to half if not more of the White Sox team is Hispanic and you guys continue to butcher Spanish names. The to of you are a disgrace to your professsion and lack professionalism on the job. Take a Spanish 101 class that will provide you with the pronunciation of the basic alphabet in Spanish to help you at your job. I can't take screaming at the TV anymore! Your continuous mispronouncing of Spanish names only adds to your ignorance.
