Game Notes For Friday

*It's not hard to see that the Twins ascent has been linked to great starting pitching. Since June 1, Brad Radke (2.59) and Johann Santana (2.72) rankd 3rd and 4th in AL ERA. Francisco Liriano, who is on the shelf for the Twins right now, is 2nd (2.23).

*Defense is another strength for the Twins.  They are currently on a 20-game winning streak in games where they have committed fewer errors than their opponent.

*If the season ended today, Justin Morneau would set Twins record for slugging % at .590.

*The Sox hit the long ball yesterday as they have all year.  No other team has as many 2+HR games as the Sox with 57.
