Game Notes For Monday

*Chicago has won 15 of the last 17 meetings at U.S. Cellular Field, as well as eight of the last 10 meetings overall.

*Kansas City has no home runs and just six extra-base hits during the last four games (all losses at Cleveland).

*Kansas City starter Mark Redman is 7-2 in his last 13 starts, and is 1-0 with a 2.66 ERA in three career starts at U.S. Cellular Field.

*Chicago has won four in a row and is now two games ahead of Boston in the A.L. Wild Card race.

*Chicago’s Jim Thome is batting .418, with nine home runs and 23 RBIs in his last 17 games vs. the Royals.

* White Sox starter Jon Garland is 7-1 at home vs. the Royals in his career, including 4-0 with a 1.70 ERA in his last five home starts vs. K.C.

Just want to say,I'm cheering from down here in Arkansas.I've been a fan of Chicago teams since I was able to see or hear them.Born on the south side,when McDonald's had 5oo,ooo sold up on 35th,I've really been a fan of my Sox.
I watch the games down here and love it.Just would like to know,Everytime one of our pitchers strike out the last man in a inning or the game,who is this man that's says...YEAH!!!!.It's on time,even the umpire seems to get into it.Just Love It!
