Game Notes For Tuesday
*The good news for the Sox as they face off with NY and Detroit in these next 6 games is that they have the best record in the American League against +.500 teams at 30-19.
*The bad news is that after starting out 32-12 at home, the Sox are only 2-8 at U.S. Cellular in their last 10 home games.
*The name of the game for Chien-Ming Wang is keep the ball down and let them hit it on the ground. He has the 3rd hightest % of ground balls at 76.9% and has allowed the lowest %of HR per 9 innings at .46.
*Freddy Garcia hasn't won since late June, but will have a better chance if he continues to keep Derek Jeter down. Jeter has only 5 hits in 25 careers ABs vs. Garcia.
