Game Notes For Wednesday
*Tampa Bay, which hasn't won a series in Chicago since April 1998, is still looking for its first road win in the month of August and has lost 21 of the last 22 road games.
*Since June 30, Jon Garland has been as good as any pitcher in baseball, going 9-1 with a 2.71 ERA.
*Former Sox player Greg Norton is one of the few Devil Rays having a good August, hitting .377 for the month.
*In his first 10 games after the All-Star break, Jermaine Dye didn't homer or get an RBI, but since then he has hit .344 and leads the AL in that span with 14 homers, 38 RBIs, and a .736 slugging %.
