Hawk Talk
We just wanted to alert all our viewers that Hawk will miss Saturday night's telecast vs. the Cleveland Indians on WGN-TV. Former Sox starter Jack McDowell will fill on for Hawk, who has been invited to appear at the Baseball Hall of Fame that night as a special guest in their "Voices Of The Game" series. Hosted by noted baseball author Curt Smith, Hawk's presentation will take place at 2p on Saturday in Cooperstown in the Hall of Fame's Bullpen Theatre.
Go get'em Hawk. It'll be a can of corn for you!

hard White Sox fan,always have been.You work in the media now,
can you explain to me why someone
like Marrioti can continue to call
you and the Soxs out your names
with no repercussions.His recent column refered to you as grammar
challenged.Everyone who listens to the Soxs know you have the "Hawksters Style"of announcing the game,just as Harry Carey had his style.Yet if someone comes out and say anything negative about Marrioti
he campaigns in his column for their jobs.Doesn't he have someone that he has to answer too?

im 38 yrs sox fan but this yr sox dont have it. I predict SOX will loose 8 out of 12 next games

Hopefully Hawk will be retiring soon. Opposing team fans are sick of his one sided comments about their teams. I'll be glad when "He Gone" and you can "Put that on the board"

I just wanted to say that you will be truley missed on my behalf becasue where i am living at the moment(college in southern indiana) we only we wgn so i only get to see about 1 game a week on tv and the rest on gamecast on mlb.com, and i can no longer hear farmer-singleton duo anymore but hawk always makes these games so enjoyable with his witty commentary and stories. however, i am sure darrin and black jack will make this game just as enjoyable. just thought i'd let you all know how enjoyable you amke the games when they arent on a delayed simulated screen on mlb.com
~p.s - is it just me or did that game winning home run by a.j last night just seem meant to be for this team? deffinately a turning point to come back after the wind being taken COMPLETLY out of their sails, shows how big these games really are.

My Aunt Agnes & Uncle Bud Bilek are season ticket holders and are die hard Sox fans. They buried their youngest son Michael"Mickey"
yesterday. I would like to say Thanks to all the people who work in The Stadium club and the parking lot people who all know them and sent their sympathy. It meant a great deal to them

You guys are the most one sided broadcast team ever. I realize you work for the Sox but did you ever think that half of the people watching might not think of the Sox as The Good Guys?You are on The Superstation which goes out all over the U.S.And the Bulls broadcasts are the same way. The officiating is always against the Chicago teams.You guys should work for the Fox News Network. Talk about fair and balanced!!
