Who's Your MVP? Why?
Who is the American League Most Valuable Player this year? Tell us why - team loyalty isn't enough. If you were trying to sway a writer from say, Seattle, who has a vote, tell us why it should be your candidate.
This is going to be a great race between Jermaine, Jeter, Ortiz, Santana and coming up strong on the outside, Justin Morneau from the Twins. It could very well come down to some last week heroics that will be fresh in the voters' minds.

I love Jermaine, he is a great player, however I believe the MVP should go to a player who has had an impact on a Winning team. By that I mean making the playoffs or
coming from behind to win. Thus no Detroit player or White Sox player deserves the MVP. Only the Yankees and Minnisota have risen to the challenge, so that leaves Jeter and Santana. Jeter gets my vote. Dye would have had a chance it he played for a manager who he respected. Ozzie will have to go before the White Sox can rise to the top again..

No Rowand, no chemistry! Its time to bring Aaron back for 2007. We need the fielding, the stolen bases and most of all -- the spark.

Well my fav is #12 AJ, but for mvp this year i regret to say i have to go with Jeter stepped up for his team when they lost two of their stars. He has always been a good capt. for the team as well. I feel as though he cared this team on his shoulders.

I think it will go to Jermaine Dye, because he made great plays at the outfield. He also good with the bat. He has 43 home runs and 119 RBI's this year.
