Game Notes For Friday vs. Angels

* The White Sox have just one win in their last seven home games against the Angels. * The Angels are just 1-7 away from home this season and will be looking to snap their current six-game road losing streak. * In the first inning this season, the Angels have outscored their opponents 23-8 (best in the majors), while the White Sox have been outscored 25-8 (worst in the AL). * The White Sox have gone without a single error in eight of their last nine games. * Jim Thome leads the White Sox with five home runs and 25 walks. In fact, his 25 walks are the most by a White Sox through the team’s first 20 games since 1957. * Ervin Santana is 2-0 in four career starts against the White Sox. However, he has lost both of his road starts this season, posting a whopping 11.88 ERA in those contests. * Jon Garland will be seeking his first win of the season. Garland is 2-6 with a 5.07 ERA in 11 career starts against the Angels.
