Game Notes For Monday @ Royals

* The White Sox have lost nine of their last 14 road games against Kansas City. Chicago committed 15 errors in those nine losses. * Mark Buehrle is 15-6 in his career against the Royals. Among active hurlers, only Kenny Rogers (20) and David Wells (16) have more wins against Kansas City. * Paul Konerko is 2-for-22 (.091) with seven strikeouts over his last five games. * Royals starting pitchers have a 3.90 ERA so far this season, compared to 5.85 last year. Only the Athletics (4.50 to 2.16) have made a bigger improvement from 2006 to 2007 in starters ERA. * Kansas City is batting just .181 (15/188) after the sixth inning of games this season, the worst such average in the majors. * David DeJesus is 8-for-19 in his last four games (.421). DeJesus is tied for fifth in the AL with 15 runs scored.
