*The Sox pounded Tiger pitching for 34 homers in 19 games last year. *Jim Thome's 49 career HRs vs. the Tigers are the most they have allowed to an active opposing hitter. *Jermaine Dye has five career HRs vs. Nate Robertson. Paul Konerko has four. *Both the Tigers and the Sox have nine players who have homered this year.
