Hawk Talk

Fear not White Sox fans. Hawk is OK. The reason he is missing the Oakland series is that he is attending the 40th reunion of the 1967 American League champion Red Sox at Fenway Park. The team was introduced at today's home opener for the Red Sox and will be feted at a dinner tonight. Congratulations to Hawk and we hope he has a great time at this event.

Thanks for the Hawk update.. my mind is at ease!

Hello. You have to read the whole email to get the point
:-)
I'm from Cleveland and an Indians fan. I always brag about the Chicago
Whitesox Announcers because they are fair, even if Chicago gets a bad call that goes their way, the announcers will call it fairly. I don't like the Whitesox owner, not because of the players. The players are cool. I can't
stand the owner because he steals things from Cleveland just like the rest of Chicago. This isn't what I'm writing about though...

The Whitesox announcers couldn't understand why Clevelanders boo Jim Thome. It is because he deserted Cleveland for Philladelphia. It has nothing to do with
Chicago. Hawk mentioned when he was traded to Cleveland from Boston he got cheers from
the Boston fans. That is the key word "Traded". When Kenny Lofton got traded to Atlanta from Cleveland. Kenny got all kinds of cheers.

Clevelanders can't stand people that desert their fans.

Please pass along to Hawk and DJ that I think they are "First Class #1" in
my book. If all announcers and sports writers were like the Chicago & Cleveland Baseball announcers, this would be a better world.

Hi Hawk! I just wanted to say that you do a great job and a big Hello from Pacolet, South Carolina.

Hi Hawk,
you and DJ do a great and awesome job broadcasting The Chicago White Sox. I really enjoy listening to you on Tv. you seem so cool and very down to earth. You and DJ sure know a lot about the sport of baseball. I love your sports stories when you played back in the day. You and DJ are the best!
Take Care!
From, your fan Jacquie
