Game Notes For Friday vs. Royals

* The Royals have won two of the last three games they have played against the White Sox in Chicago. * In its loss yesterday to the Athletics, Kansas City gave up 17 runs, the most runs allowed in any MLB game this season. * Over their last three games, the White Sox starting pitchers have a combined 0.79 (2/22.2) ERA and their opponents are batting just .160 (12/75) against them. * Odalis Perez is 0-3 in four career starts versus the White Sox with a 6.65 (17/23.0) ERA * Jon Garland is 0-2 in his three starts at home this season with a 6.05 (13/19.1) ERA. * Mark Grudzielanek is batting .381 (48/126) in his career against the White Sox. His batting average against them is the highest among all active players in MLB (min. 125 AB). * Joe Crede has more RBI against the Royals (60) than he has against any other team he has faced in his career.
