Game Notes For Game 2 vs. Yankees

*After hitting .400 in his first 18 games, Alex Rodriguez is hitting .232 in his last 19. A-Rod is 5/9 lifetime against Jose Contreras. *While A-Rod has been slumping, Derek Jeter is on fire, hitting .435 since April 24. *Take away the first inning of Opening Day and Jose Contreras has a 2.29 ERA this year. *The Sox are 8-9 and hitting just .211 since Jim Thome was injured.
