Game Notes For Tuesday @ Twins

* Eight of the last 10 meetings in Minnesota between these two teams have been decided by at least three runs. * The White Sox, who have won their last two games by scoring a total of 10 runs, have scored just nine runs in their last six losses. * While the Twins #5 and #6 hitters have combined to hit 12 home runs this season, the rest of the team has hit just four home runs. On top of that, the Twins have gone four straight games without hitting a single home run. * Among players that have hit at least five home runs this season, no player has fewer RBI than A.J. Pierzynski (10- tied with Jim Thome). * Joe Mauer was placed on the disabled list (strained left quadriceps) Sunday after missing the final two games of the weekend series against Boston. The 24-year-old catcher is hitting a team-best .353 with 14 RBIs and 10 doubles. * Javier Vazquez limited the Twins to one hit in 6.2 innings on April 7 in a 3-0 win - his first in his last six starts against Minnesota.
