Game Notes For Monday vs. Yankees

* The White Sox have won four of the last six meetings between the teams, all at U.S. Cellular Field. * Jorge Posada is batting .398 (43-108) since May 1, tops in the majors during that span. * The Yankees record through June 3 of last season was 33-21. They led the AL East by a half game ahead of Boston in the standings. Today they are 12 ½ games behind the division-leading Red Sox. * Bobby Abreu has not homered since May 16 against the White Sox, a span of 17 games. * Jon Garland has won 18 games each of the last two seasons, but the White Sox are just 3-7 when he's pitched this year. * Bobby Jenks has converted 14 consecutive save opportunities, the longest active streak in the American League. * The White Sox went 1-6 on their just completed seven-game road trip. They allowed seven runs or more in four of those games (all losses).
