Getting Back on Garland

Jon Garland has been on a pretty good run of late. If you look at his history with the Yankees, he's got a good ERA against them. He had a good outing against them earlier in the year, but things fell apart at the end. Jon's last outing was his worst of the year but he was a bit under the weather and I expect he'll bounce back tonight.

Speaking of the weather, we're going to start a bit late with the Yankees bringing rain to town again for their second visit of the year.

I just wanted to say that the White Sox broadcasters are the worst i've ever heard. Their use of corny phrases such as "he gone" and calling the opposing team "the bad guys" and the Sox "the good guys" is lame, cheesy, and flat out stupid. At times i could'nt tell if i was watching a professional broadcast or amateur cheerleading. Between corny comments i was almost lulled to sleep from all the dead air. what happened to facts? these guys don't know anything about anybody except the white sox. and another thing, their use of nicknames is ridiculous. "Paulie, ajp, etc"....stupid. Just call the game.

My reply to "Rusty",
I'm a lifelong Sox fan and want to say that I totally agree with you.
I also watch the Cubs on GN and really enjoy Bob Brenly and Len.
They're pleasant, informative and really do a nice dewscription of the game.
They tell us pertinent facts and things the fans want to know about.
The Sox pair just goes on & on & on about things that we didn't tune in to hear.
I could certainly enjooy someone else in the booth and see it as an improvement.
No need to call them names, Rather that they are no enjoyable to listen to.

Keep up the good work DJ. You and Hawk are the best color analysts and play-by-play men in the league.
