Game Notes For Friday Vs. Twins

* The Twins have won six of their last eight games played at U.S. Cellular Field. * The White Sox scored a season high 11 runs last night against the Orioles. Last season, they scored at least 11 runs on 14 occasions (tied for the fourth most in the majors). * The Twins have dropped four of their last five, including Thursday's 7-6 loss to the New York Yankees. Reliever Pat Neshek, who entered the game with a 1.34 ERA, gave up a tying two-run homer to Hideki Matsui in the eighth inning. * Boof Bonser is 6-2 in 2007 when he does not allow a home run, but just 6-8 when he allows at least one home run. * Jon Garland has allowed less than two walks in 10 of his 16 starts this season. * Over his career, Jim Thome has hit 46 home runs against the Twins – the second most (Frank Thomas 50) of any active player. * Torii Hunter and Justin Morneau are the first Twins’ duo to each reach the 60 RBI mark before the All-Star break since 1970.
