* Cleveland split four games with the Twins in Minnesota over the weekend and is now 5-3 in its last eight road contests overall. * With their 3-game sweep of the Tigers over the weekend, the White Sox have won four straight overall and are now 9-4 since July 24. * These two teams have split their last 24 games in Chicago, each winning 12 times. * The Indians have five wins this season when trailing after eight innings—tied with the D-Rays for most in baseball. * Ryan Garko is hitting .520 (13-for-25) with two home runs in seven games vs. the White Sox this season. Garko has at least one hit in each of his five career games at U.S. Cellular Field (7-for-19, .368). * Jake Westbrook is 0-3 with an 8.78 ERA in five road starts this season—Westbrook’s last road victory came last September 24 vs. Texas. * Bobby Jenks is 1-0 and hasn’t allowed a run or a hit in his last 10 appearances (10 IP). I understand the value of taking a pitch, and getting a good look at a motion and movement and just trying to get deep in the count against a quality starter, but Erstad has less than 200 ab's and has gone 0-1 117 times, isn't that a bit too predictable?
